Job brief
We sit with the hiring manager and the people already doing the job. We want the parts that aren't in the posting.
FIGHTS ON · Staffing & Recruiting Launching
Direct-hire placement of veterans into skilled trades, logistics, operations, and management. We're building a small bench and working it closely, instead of a large one loosely.
Where we place
Fees are a percentage of first-year salary, set at the bottom of the market band for each level. You get the number in writing before we start.
Technicians, drivers, maintenance, warehouse, and field roles. People who fix, move, and run things.
Shift leads, crew chiefs, dispatch supervisors, site coordinators. First-line leadership, which the military produces at scale.
Operations managers, program managers, logistics and facilities leadership. Senior military experience, civilian job title.
The process
We sit with the hiring manager and the people already doing the job. We want the parts that aren't in the posting.
We present a short slate — people we have personally interviewed, with a written read on fit and risk.
Your candidate is briefed on your environment. You're briefed on what they're coming from. Then they interview.
The same recruiter debriefs both sides at each mark, so problems surface while they're still cheap to fix.
The difference
The national military-recruiting firms are built around hiring conferences and candidate databases. That model is transactional by design: it optimizes for volume of introductions, and the relationship ends when the invoice clears.
We're built around knowing people. Our recruiters carry a small bench and stay with a placement through the first year. When a hire struggles, we already know why, because we've been talking to both sides the entire time. That's slower, and it's the whole product.
It also means we can feed our own companies. Every veteran on our bench is a candidate for your opening and for the Pathway — and the ones who take the Pathway become the operators and owners inside FIGHTS ON.
Founding partners
We're launching now. Our first employer partners help shape how candidates are briefed for their environment, and they get first look at the bench as it forms.
