The name

Why "FIGHTS ON"

Before a training engagement, both fighter pilots brief the plan, confirm their jets are ready, and agree on the end state. Only then do both make the call: "FIGHTS ON." It isn't a battle cry. It means the homework is done. Every sortie ends in a debrief, and so does every placement and every load we run.
